Graduate Degree
Graduate degree in any discipline from any Institute / College / University recognized / approved by Govt. bodies / AICTE / UGC. The result must have been declared on or before 01.04.2026. The date of passing Graduation should not be more than 4 years preceding the cut-off date (i.e. Graduation Marksheet should not be prior to 01.04.2022).
Nationality / Citizenship
Must be a Citizen of India or subject of Nepal / Bhutan / eligible person of Indian origin as per prescribed criteria. A certificate of eligibility from Govt. of India is required for non-Indian citizens in eligible categories.
Local Language Proficiency
Candidate must be proficient in any one of the local languages of the applied state (reading, writing, speaking and understanding). Evidence via 10th/12th marksheet/certificate or local language proficiency test.

The selection process for Union Bank of India Apprentice Recruitment 2026 consists of 2 (two) stages - an Online Test of 100 marks (objective type, 60 minutes) and a Proficiency Test of Local Language. Candidates who qualify the online test with cut-off marks as decided by the Bank will be called for document verification and the local language proficiency test. Final selection will be subject to meeting cut-off marks, satisfactory document verification, proficiency of local language, and submission of a Medically Fit Certificate from a registered General Physician.
